We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.

Temporary loss of creative thought ...

Don't seem to have had much time recently to come up with something for this month's Craft Barn challenge.  The next couplet is -

August brings the sheaves of corn,
The the Harvest home is borne.

and we have to include a tractor.

Probably because I'm pushed for time my mind has been a blank on this one - no inspiration whatsoever! Anyway, I've found some clipart and created it on my computer (very unusual for me), and added some glitter to the corn, which you can't really see. The background (of which very little can be seen) was a scrap piece of painted paper I found.

So, all very boring really - I hope to get back on track for next month!

  1. Clipart does have it's uses and I love your tractor silhouette. Great sheaves of corn too! Elaine x

  2. I also lost the plot with the August verse, maybe its the time of the year. A really good idea to use a silhouette tractor and the row of corn sheaves gives it a good balance. I zoomed in on your postcard and I can see the glitter, very nice.

  3. Iwas actually quite impressed with this latest CB entry. I liked the silhouette, and think you did a fabulous job, especially after you had that silly add-on. It shows you were thinking, whether you admit it, or not.

  4. Your page turned out well despite your initial feelings. Clip art certainly has its uses. I sometimes use it to make a stencil or mask. Saves on buying things you might only use once! Xx
