We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.

A little MOON gazing .....

Whooo  Hoooo!  I won the random number thingy last week, just need to decide what to spend it on, keep going onto the Craft Barn website, and keep changing my mind!   Oh - decisions decisions!

The latest Craft Barn Q&L challenge words are MOON and SENSATION.

I don't know how many times I've turned to Lewis Carroll during this challenge, but ..... at least I'm being consistent!

I've taken a verse from The Walrus and the Carpenter:

The moon was shining sulkily,
Because she thought the sun
Had got no business to be there
After the day was done -
"it's very rude of him" she said,
"To come and spoil the fun!"

I've recently bought some Brusho paints, so this was an ideal opportunity to try them out. I sprinkled the dry powder onto damp watercolour paper, then spritzed with water.

Printed off the moon, and stamped some sulky looking eyes. Well, I think she looks a little sulky!

It's cold and damp today, so I'm off to make a nice hot mug of soup!

  3. Lovely Brusho background, aren't they fab, and another fun quote. Love my Brushos but think I may be getting hooked on the "spritzing" technique

  4. Glorious background Kay, like so many galaxies and nebulae doing 'their thing'. I love the sulky moon you created, to go so well with the lyric :o))

  6. I finally learned what Brushos are. The colors are really vibrant, and I like the texture you got. I suspect that was from the watercolor paper? Yes, her eyes are very sulky. Great spread, and enjoyed that you are consistent by picking Lewis Carroll, an author I actually have heard of!
