Definition: (n) a lover of rain; someone who finds joy and peace of mind during rainy days
This month's Craft Barn Calendar Challenge words are blue and umbrella.
I decided to try Brushos on glossy card - with gentle spritzing the colour tends to pool in smaller areas, which I quite like!
Found an umbrella outline on Google images, which I used as a guide, and cut out in black card. Decided not to use it in the normal way!
Plant life stamp by Woodware, and raindrops stamps courtesy of Ryn (nobody does water drops better!).
Happiness is having an umbrella when it rains!
Inspired design. If I bought cards instead of making them I would definitely go for this. LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteI love the way you have used the umbrella as a container for your flowers. This is lovely.
ReplyDeleteLove your subtle brusho background and it's a great idea to use your umbrella a plant container.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Will have to get me some brushos.
ReplyDeleteAwesome card!
ReplyDeleteI'm really liking your idea of using the umbrella upside down With the plants growing inside. Great placement of the droplets too! Thanks so much :)
ReplyDeleteI am a proud pluviophile :D
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you about Ryn's water stamps. Perfection. I love how you used one here :-D
Beautiful. Love the idea with the plants in the umbrella. Fab :)
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely, especially the way you have used the umbrella. and of course Ryns rain drops. x
ReplyDeleteI like the up-ended umbrella growing flowers, it's fresh and original. The Brushos would have worked on their own as rain but Ryn's raindrops are indeed the best!
ReplyDeleteGreat page, love the raindrops and use of the upside down umbrella! xx
ReplyDeletelike the subtle color and great idea to use an umbrella as a plant pot
ReplyDeleteI am not a pluviophile!! What a brilliant word and a fab page.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining in The Craft Barn Challenge.
